Interesting Collation Of 3Rd Tier Nibs

Found in a small metal tube inside one of those portable lap desks: 4 low tier nibs which appear to be more or less in good shape. Makes me wonder if the owner kept swapping in search of a good nib, repaired pens, or what. No, no pen in the desk.

- Waterson 14k Gold Plate No. 1

Could be the owner had access to some nibs he really liked, and routinely swapped out the less expensive nibs when he came into possession of a less expensive pen. It would have been a great strategy for saving money and still getting to use excellent nibs.
