Mythbusting: Japanese Jumbo Pens And Writers With Arthritis

Ink stained wretch, a simple workaround for thin pencils - get an ordinary wine bottle cork and drill a hole slightly smaller than the pencil shaft down the middle. You should then be able to wriggle the pencil down through the cork and you have a nice big soft grip to hold on to. (If the pencil doesn't fit widen the hole very gradually till it does.) Further refinements such as shaping can be added if you feel the need using a sharp knife and sandpaper.

Too many pens, too little time!

Bonus...if you widen the hole TOO much, you can justify opening another bottle of wine!

If you are looking for a pen with a finger cushion look at a Sensa Meridian

I love mine.

  • 2 weeks later...

Unfortunately, there was nothing relevant in the 2nd page from the catalog.

It says that Takumi Takehiko was the founder of the company.

The workers, reaserch team, raw materials and quality control are very well praised.

Pens are mass produced and follow the evolution of the pen world.

The company can handle large international orders and very fast deliveries.
