Crossing the pond and US for a visit to the show. Looking forward to see how the show is different from LA, DC, SF, and Chicago. Jeremy has been very helpful with advice and information:)))

Travel to Russell Square tube. Coming out the station facing you is a fairly modern block of buildings. The Holiday Inn is at the back of them. Just to the right is Marchmont Street. Go down it and first left to the hotel entrance. The show will be signed and is usually to the left.

Note that the queues for Tube tickets at main-line stations are often very long. If you can buy your ticket beforehand then do. Oyster Card holders will be fine of course. If you are coming into KGX/STP then it's not far to walk to Coram Street.

The Tube also accepts contactless payments by credit/ debit cards now. Just scan your card on the Oyster scanner and travel. But don't forget to scan it out or you will be hit for the maximum fare.

Good point. I forgot you can do that now (we always use Oyster cards in London).

I've been thinking of taking the bus since it's way cheaper, will there be a ton of traffic on Sunday? It's only £2.40 for each trip right? I saw that it was estimated about 40 minutes from my place to Russell Square.

Bus fares in London are expensive, but not that expensive. £1.50 per trip, or two trips if made within one hour. Please note that you can't pay cash on buses nowadays, Oyster or contactless payment cards only.

To be honest, traffic is unreliable on a Sunday. The bus either sails through swiftly, or it's a right royal pain going nowhere due to roadworks.

For those of you travelling by train this Sunday, here is a list of planned closures that I know about. It is not exhaustive, so please do your own research if your line is not listed:

District Line: no service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Piccadilly line trains call additionally at Turnham Green.

London Overground: no service between Hackney Downs and Walthamstow Central

No service between Willesden Junction and Camden Road

Piccadilly Line: no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge.

TfL Rail: no service Stratford to Shenfield

See you all there!

If you are near an undergrond station I would suggest that you use the Tube, although Sunday morning traffic should be light.

Have you used the TFL Journey planner

Just this moment booked my train tickets from Manchester. Whilst I will only be attending for a couple of hours (need to be back in Manchester for 5pm), I very much look forward to bumping into anyone from the FPN. ;)

No doubt you'll be loitering around the Conid desk like last year.

See you there !
