What's Your Favourite Looking Montblanc?

I agree...but do you really write in public with it?...It looks so ostentatious... :(

I don't have one. But as a general rule, I don't write with anything other than Meisterstuck line in public. Everything else stays at home.

I had to take a screen shot of this one. I think it's called 1912. I'm not sure. It's still my Fav MB.

There's something about the silver rings and gold band. Hemingway is a very close second. Any MOP is a solid third, but there's something about the squared off ends.post-119980-0-09636900-1468086719_thumb.jpg

My personal favorite has always been the Dumas followed closely by the Poe.

Certainly not one I'll own in the near future, but the Grace de Monaco.

I want to play! The Montblanc forum has been dead-boring lately :)

I agree the Tsar Nikolai is gorgeous! I occasionally think about it.

Okay. The best looking pen I own I believe would be this. I saw it in the Bond Street boutique in 2012 and kept frequenting the shop until I got it a month later.

The best looking pen I am on the lookout for and hope to get is this:

And for later this year, I believe this is going to be a gorgeous addition as well ;)

Pravda, that Genghis Khan is quite magnificent (congrats on that acquisition), as is the skeleton 149. What is that 3rd one? Is that in sterling?

I would say the Moon Pearl. Very elegant and refined. It makes me think fo a 1930's style I like a lot.

Very nice selection of yours as well.

Yes that Moon Pearl is quite appealing. I remember watching a good review of it by Stephen Brown.

Jar, those vintage Montblancs certainly possess a timeless beauty and character.

Thanks max dog. I don't have the skeleton 149 yet, but I hope one day.

The third one has the body similar to that of Leo Tolstoy. Hammered metal I think.

Pravda., what model is the pen in your first photo - it is exquisitely decorated.

I really like the Poe WE, but I think the one I like best is the Quing Dynasty pen with the jade cap. Or may be one of the skeletons.. Errrrrm :/

Nice choices here. You have good taste!

Had this but sold it to fund another 'last' pen. Wish I had not now

I really lust for the Sterling Pinstripe.

Charles, the first Montblanc I really fell in love with was a ball point sterling pinstripe that I just couldn't afford at the time, then one day I came across the fountain pen version at a boutique on sale at a price I just couldn't refuse.

I am a humble woman, I like the regular old 146 with gold trim.

The regular Meisterstuck precious resin in gold trim didn't become so famous by accident. Timeless elegance.

I think Ingrid Bergman attracts quite a few stares. Even a senior partner in my firm noted it. (PS - He otherwise never speaks to staff at my level)

The Ingrid Bergman is beautiful.

Thanks a lot for the video Max, I indeed watched it a couple of time. I looked at older comments on FPN and it seems that people like it a lot.

Very tempting :)

That's a 1914 in coral, basically a giant version of the 1912.
