More Crvs This Time With Ink Samples

As you may know (and if you don't check out the link in my signature), I'm attempting to use 366+ inks this year (or about an ink a day). I have been going through my samples first and then to the bottles. Now I have a lot of samples that have a single fill removed that I will never use again, or samples where I used a single fill and then loved the ink so much that I bought the bottle.

 

So, I'm willing to send several samples to anyone who will write back to me on the CRVs (again see the 366+ links below). If you don't know how to do a CRV, that's okay, you just write back on the paper that I send you. I make no guarantees about what inks I will send you, but I will include at least 5 different colors and at least 8 ml of ink. (Probably closer to 7 colors and 12 ml of ink).

 

You pay only for postage. If you are willing to do more CRVs let me know and I'll ship more samples.

I don't know how to do CRVs, but surely am willing to learn and to write back following your lead. I'm very new to fountain pens & ink by almost everyone's standards, and very interested in delving deeper. I drank the Kool-Aid.

Thanks for the offer. This sounds like a fun and inexpensive way to try out some new inks. I'm willing to give it a try, as long as there's no rush on getting the CRV papers back. Although I do have a good number of fountain pens, I try to limit how many are inked up simultaneously, so going through all the samples might take a while.

Take as long as you need to do the CRVs. Ideally, I'd like to have all of them uploaded by February.

 

I have gotten a lot of great responses, so I will end this offer tonight at midnight, but I will likely do it again.

Well, it may not look like a sent a bunch of these out, but I did and samples go quickly when you are sending 5 or more out at a time. I'm going to end it for today and go back to getting work done. Many of the ink samples are from the FPN group, the SuperPinks - they were a group of ink testers that are still friends. We all decanted our extra inks and shared the samples and these were the extras. Except for the other samples that have been given to me or I purchased.

Even with that link, I STILL don't understand what a CRV is in full! Is it for writing letters with the same ink in different pens on the same paper, or similar inks but the same pen, or a mix of both?

Similar inks, complementary inks, the same ink... compare and contrast inks, pens... but two people writing on the same paper.
