I'm excited this was extended! I'll review the options and put in an order. Thank you Mr. Kandan!

the acrylic demo version takes lot of time to make by hand as the effort for finish is 4 times... and thus people who have ordered demo version will have to wait more....

sad truth...

Thank you for that information, that helps to know as well.

This is not a criticism but this kind of delay could have been disclosed to buyers before purchasing, just sayin'...

It was never intended...the acrylic demo was introduced for the group buy for very first time and was exclusively made available here...

even if you go to regular listing of ranga handmade pens or even Peyton Pen street it is not available there....

My sincerest apologies for the delay ... i sholuld have known the making time before starting the group buy.. however to be fair even manufacturer had no Idea...

I am still waiting for mine to be shipped and so I thought I may as well order the demonstrator as well, it just looks so cool. And now reading it is an exclusive I think it's a must. Are we still open for orders?

One more question though, is there a way to see some sort of picture of the regular vs. the giant size? Would be extremely helpful. I have ordered the regular in Ebonite but considering getting the demo in giant size.

Quick Question -

Do the JOWO nibs come with the words "Iridium Point Germany" engraved onto it?

Also great job organizing these group buys Vaibhav. I came here after seeing the post you made on Reddit's /r/fountainpens

If no such picture is available, would be able to share the section diameter at least? Thank you.

On @mehandiratta's advice, I've 'signed up' for this group buy, but ordered a nibless pen: I have a #6 JoWo nib unit, with custom nib grind, on order from FPnibs.com (they're very skilled, and excellent value for money), so although this is a little more expensive than buying the eyedropper-only pen with nib and feed, I think it's the way to go!

Looking forward to assembling this pen from its constituent parts, once they all arrive - thanks Ranga Pens, Mr Kandan and @mehandiratta for getting this group buy off the ground!

Mr. Kandan:

Would it be possible to order a pen made to fit #6 Jowo nib units, yet buy it without the actual nib unit? I am curious to know what the price will be in this case.

This is what I have in mind:

Model: Ranga Bamboo Regular (3-in-1 Filling Mechanism)

Material: Demonstrator

Finish: Matte Finish with Polished Finials

Clip: No clip

Nib: No nib (I want to use my own #6 Jowo nib unit)

Many Thanks,

K

Again I find myself slipping in just under the wire. I had thought I was going to miss this opportunity, but I am happy to say my payment is sent.

The matte demonstrator w/ polished finials looks pretty outstanding. :D

  • Regular-size Bamboo - ED Version
  • Material: Clear Acrylic Demonstrator
  • Finish: Matte / Polished finials
  • Nib: Two Tone M. (Ready for Ambitious 35 or 40mm nib)
  • Clipless
