Irish Green - Montblanc

It seems that in 2010 Montblanc changed the manufacturer of their ink as well as the design of the bottle. The company's issued a new, larger (60 ml vs 50 ml) bottle. To be honest I find Montblanc bottle not only nice but also practical, much better than Iroshizuku or Sailor.

  8. Toffee Brown

Irish Green is fantastic green ink that offers nice saturation, some water resistance and great shading potential. As most Montblanc inks it behaves well on variety of papers.

Thanks, visvamitra!

Looks to be near the sweet spot for my eyes. And I agree about the bottle.

Nice review of a nice colour - thanks.

I'd bought a bottle about a month ago and forgotten about it, time to break into the box.

Thank you for the review of my favorite green.

"Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?" Patrick Henry

Thank you! I own this ink and agree with LG, I would prefer it be a little more yellow. I also wish it were a tad wetter. Nevertheless, this is a solid performing ink with a fantastic bottle.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
