Thanks for the mention of Pentooling. I didn't know them. Lot's of interesting stuff there.

 

It's easy to spend a lot on pen tools. I just spent about $100 on two wrenches. One for older MB 149s and the other for the latest 149's. And these are just for nib removal. I could drop more dough on piston removal tools.

Have you managed to fix it? I'm going through the exact same problem with my Parker Sonnet, but I'm hesitant to try and fix it as it's my first gold nib.
