Paid! Over 150 enquiries according to the email! To anyone worried about the ASA branding, I have the 2015 ASA galactic in the same translucent material and the branding is done really nicely, very unobtrusive especially when inked. I believe since then they have reduced the size of branding further. There was a thread on here somewhere about it...

Is the branding going to similar to the one on the ebonite nauka (on the cap) ? Or is it going to be on the barrel ?

Same as in Ebonite Nauka.

Small fonts in cap bottom

Eyedropper means by default Ambitious 35mm nib.

But if you have opted for Schmidt, it can be used as ED too.

Hi All,

This is to clarify that ED with ambitious nib will not be able to take a converter or cartridge.

If you have opted for JoWo or Schmidt, nib option, it will by default come with a Schmidt converter.

Form filled and sent.

I would like to include with the same order and in the same parcel two additional Ambitious nibs, largest size.

How should I proceed accordingly, before final payment?

Thank you!

Please email us quickly...

I have just sent an email to you both with the request for no engraving on the pen that I have ordered.

Thank you for your help with this and for arranging this opportunity for us.

Regards,

AD

I've just noticed that this pen can now be ordered through Asapens website, and I'm a bit confused. I think the form you asked us to fill is the Google form that can be found in page 1 of this thread, and not the order form in Asapens website. If I already filled the Google form, then I can wait for your payment instructions and no need to order via Asapens website. Please kindly correct me if I understand the procedures wrongly. Thank you.

I am not totally happy that there will be branding anywhere on the pen. Not with a brushed finish like this. However, my Franklin Christoph 66 in antique glass has branding on the flat area of the barrel and I don't really notice it unless I am really looking for it. So I guess I shall have to wait and see. It'll probably be okay.

Have you asked Asa to not brand your pen? You could, you know.

I got the ASA Galactic and I found the branding to be innocuous and I think it might be useful in case I forget one day wher I got this pen from

I asked for no barrel branding and was told it was going to be on the cap. It's not a huge deal really. Just something I hadn't considered at the start. I daresay it will be about as unnoticeable as the Franklin Christoph branding. it's okay. I still want the pen! :)

Have an ebonite Nauka on order already but can't pass up the opportunity for this one ... and finally made me sign up for FPN ... gone for clipless, Schmidt medium nib (although definitely going to try it as an eyedropper)

My ASA Spear (which I've unfortunately misplaced) is black with engraving and it's hardly noticeable as well. I find it when I remember to look for it, but much like with its seam, most of the time I don't notice it.

I expect the Trans Nauka to be the same way, though if I remember, I'll probably request a lack of engraving as well. (I have a bad habit of scratching at engraving which is of not fault of ASA's)

If I find the pen before the group buy ends I'll post a picture of the imprint.

I have many unlisted but I'm trying not to spam the thread.

I also am happy to provide new vials for samples too!
