It's much smaller and one of the most comfortable pens for long writing.

Thanks for the info. I can't believe how massive the Galactic is, but it's also very comfortable to write with, as it's light for its size. I'm sure I'll love this one when it arrives.

Inks with neutral PH would be good. As an indication 7 is water, lower is acidic and higher is alkaline.

Avoid inks that are at the extremes of PH. This is an informative link http://www.marcuslink.com/pens/ink/ink-and-ph-levels.htm

Avoid inks with iron gall and those meant for calligraphy.

Lastly don't keep ink the in the pen for extended periods. Wash out your pens from time to time.

Bought 2016-06-01
Shipped 2016-07-06
Received 2016-07-18 in Singapore

A very big pen, the threads on the barrel takes more than 10 revolutions to unscrew, in no way you could have mistakenly unscrewed the barrel as the cap takes like 2.5 revs. :P Will be soaking it for a bit before using it.

A big thanks to Subbu and Mehan for the group buy, it is my first indian pen and eyedropper too...

EDIT : Numbers and dates

Yes galactic is massive. its my daily writer actually and its extremely comfortable to hold and i can write super fast with that.

but i guess its nauka's tapering shape that makes it just fit into your hands! the best shape for a pen in my opinion.

Mine arrived today and I think it's a beautiful pen.

I selected the Shmidt nib option.

It's slightly larger than my eyedropper ebonite Nauka.

Still havent gotten any feedback from my order, waiting is the hardest part, ha.

Mine arrived today. BEAUTIFUL pen! Mine is a converter fill, and I put Peach Haze (Diamine) in it, since they both arrived today :-). I love the 1.1 mm stub nib. It writes beautifully :).

Thanks so much for engraving my name on it! I wasn't expecting that :-).

Mine arrived a few days ago. It looks fantastic; the brushed acrylic really suits the design. 1.5mm stub and some Sailor Sky High = dreamy. Thanks to all involved.
