Hey there everyone,

I'm new here, not a FP collector, but I inherited some of my uncles pens. Half of his collection was stolen, but I have been able to identify all but one of his remaining pens, and I'm hoping you could all help me.
It's a Signum, black with silver trim and the end and cap have "egg and dart" detailing. I seriously cannot find it anywhere(see pics). Any help would be so appreciated.
In addition to that, I have a visconti that has a small piece of metal that partially popped off. Is there a person in the states who can repair such a thing, or do I need to send it to Italy?

Thanks so much!

Hello and Welcome to FPN!! Glad to have you as a member!!

Can't help with the Signum, you may want to ask in the Italian Sub-Forum. If the part popped of the Visconti is on the very top it may be part of the personalization system and is a magnet that will go right back on.

I'm not sure about identifying the Signum, but can you post a photo of the Visconti? It might help identify the best fix for the problem.

Welcome, Munkipaws !

Which other pens did you rescue from your uncle's estate ? I hope you will be able to restore them service.

About your Signum fountain pen - - FPN member "tryphon" might be able to assist.

Hey thanks everyone!
I don't have a picture of the Visconti, it's actually with a relative and I'm supposed to pick it up next week. It's the 25th Anniversary Divine Proportion pen with the compass and crystal inkwell. It was never used, but unfortunately, my brother failed to properly pack it, so the pen popped out and tangled with the compass. It doesn't appear scratched at all, but one of the silver pieces that wraps around the pen cap has PARTIALLY popped off the cap. I'm guessing it's best to send it to Visconti for repair.

Sasha Royale, his full collection consisted of many Viscontis, a few Montegrappas, a few Omas', Marlins, Pelikans, Krone, Watermans, Rotrings, Parkers, Monteverde, and some others.
It was a great collection, but one of his "friends" helped themselves to one of his pen cases(among other stolen items).
I have already sold most of the other pens to help my grandmother with my uncles funeral expenses.
I still have the Divine Proportion Visconti, and a Krone Stingray LE Cognac Diamond. I have a few other's as well but those are the two highlights for sure.
Thank you for the heads up on "Tryphon", still hoping to identify this Signum!

As life progresses and you gain knowledge and experience, it will be revealed to you how to deal with people who steal from your family. Good luck.
