One of the 5 Kyonooto inks. I shall leave the presentation of these inks to someone else.
Imayouiro is a bright pink/magenta. I love such retina searing inks like Amberlea.

Nice packaging. The colour on this box is closer to what it really is than the other colours.

It flows well. But it seems to be somewhat drier than Kokeiro or Yamabukiiro.

I was privileged to trial some of the inks last year; I'm pleased they didn't change them other than replace the original metal caps, which had a tendency to leak in transport. I really like the inks' vintage look. A d I agree with Tas - the box designs are very distinctive; under-stated & classy.

This seems very similar to the OS Lewis Carroll Queens Rose. That's a compliment. Normoally not my color range, but definitely one I'd want.

It seems really similar to Iroshihzuku Tsutsuji in the image of the swabs. Would it be possible to see a side-by side written example? Because I have this awful feeling that this is going to be one of those inks that come from the land of Unobtanium....

In terms of lubrication, these inks would feel more like Herbin and less like sailor. i.e. not much for lubrication, but most can be classified as wet inks.

I agree with the comparison to J Herbin. The one Kyo-iro ink I have is Soft Snow of Ohara, and I'd call it a wet but not especially lubricating ink.
