Daniel Hechter Fountain Pen

Recommended Posts

Hi, i am new to this forum today 23/05/16 and would like to start a conversation about replacing a nib and feed for a Daniel Hechter fountain pen.

Up to date, i have drawn a blank as to where to get a replacement nib and feed for this maker.

Anyone have any ideas? I have tried all the obvious places like the penmuseum.com and come to a dead end again.

Look forward to hearing from some members

Best regards

Graham

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. Sorry but I fear I've never heard of Daniel Hechter or that brand of fountain pen.

AbE: Ah, it appears Daniel Hechter is some fashion designer so your only hope is to contact them and see who made the pens for them.

I have a few of them. I believe they were made by Reynolds fountain pen.

I think dboulonnais on this FPN can help you. I got mine from him, and he is a wonderful person. :)

Hi Graham,

Welcome to the FPN. There are plenty of knowledge folks who are quite willing to share all sorts of FP info with you.

What other pens might you have. And do you have favorite inks/paper.

Enjoy your stay here.

If your out-go is more than your income,

Then your up-keep.

May be your Down-falll!!!

  • 7 months later...

I have a Daniel Hechter pen, bought in Florence, Italy in 1995. I loved the look, feel and writing smoothness but the plastic cap broke and the section behind the nib was dented by my fingernail! If I could find a replacement cap I'd start using it again.
