Is This Gold Trim / Burgundy Ballpoint/rollerball Real?

I found this one for a suspiciously good price... it looks like a Burgundy Cruise Collection but the trim is gold, none of the Cruise Collection have gold trim.

And yet... here's what looks like a genuine (but vintage) Montblanc burgundy with gold trim that has a similar shape:

So -- what are your thoughts. Is the 'mystery' pen real or fake?

Your ballpoint pen is a real Montblanc Classic bordeaux ballpoint pen.

The one you linked on eBay is a Montblanc Generation bordeaux ballpoint pen.

Both have nothing to do with the Montblanc Cruise Collection (what a silly term of Montblanc)

Thanks!

One more question. I just realized my Montblanc Classic is missing the lever which extends and retracts the refill.

The previous user tried to rectify this by adding a section of spring as a 'spacer' so the refill tip would stay out for writing.

Are replacement levers available anywhere?

(Also, moderators, I just realized this thread might have been better placed in the "it writes, but is not a fountain pen" forum, feel free to move it.)
