The 2016 is one of the smallest POTY editions so far, with only 500 creations for the platinum-plated and 120 for the special edition in gold-plating. The good news is we still have some available and ready for immediate shipment!

 

This years pen of the year is Inspired by Maria Theresa and Francis Stephen's love for fine lacquer art and is artistically expressed through lacquer and flamed maple panels, similar to that of which have adorned the Vieux-Laque Room in Schönbrunn Palace. Both editions are finished with an 18-carat, two-tone gold nib and an end-cap which protects the rotary knob of the plunger filling mechanism.
