What it's the difference between the ED and the CC version?

ED is eyedropper version.. And can only be used as eyedropper and can't be used with converter or cartridge...

Which is not the case with CC VERSION.. CC stands for Cartridge Converter

Thanks for organizing another group buy...

My wife (Irish Eyes) and I would like...

1) a special new ebonite/new indian ebonite #7 pink/yellow ripple c/c pen with a polished finish, a Jowo 1.5 stub nib and a gold clip

2) a regular rippled #2 green ripple c/c pen with a polished finish, a Schmidt gold coloured f nib and a gold clip

I make that 2 @ $63 or $126 total.

Does that make sense?

Hi,

I have a query. Are the clips chrome finished or gold plated? Do we have an option on the clip finishing ?

Regards,

Chaki

I have two questions:

1. Do you have any pictures of what the Black Bakul (matte) pen would look like?

2. What is the difference between (13) Blue Black Ripple and (8) Blue Ripple? From the pictures they look very similar.

How is this pen different from the ASA Patriot, apart from having more choices about the clip, ebonite color etc.? It looks very similar from the pictures and measurements. Is the Ranga 8 larger? Better finished? The Patriot is significantly less expensive. Of course the Patriot is listed as out of stock right now, but I suspect ASA could make one to order.

Thanks in advance,

BlueJ

It is different design altogether..

Patriot is rounded end pen classic design.. Whereas this model 8 is torpedo shaped pen length is almost equivalent... And obviously this pen is manufactured by Ranga whereas the other is by ASA...

Ranga pens is an older pen manufacturer which is known for its quality pens.. Hence the higher prices.. Saying that by no means the ASA is not a good quality manufacturer...

However premium ebonite you won't be able to find only with Ranga.. And this torpedo shapes takes more effort to make as compared to ASA patriot

This might not seem super important to you, but I can say that the threads are much smoother on Ranga Pens than ASA pens.

I personally love to fidget with my pens and constantly remove the back part of the barrel. My ASA pen was quite dissatisfying in that regard and Ranga was not.

I also got chills the first time I touched the smooth but matte bakul finish that Ranga did. My ASA bakul finish spear is beautiful and I love its nib and writing, but it does not give me chills.

Ink Sample Exchange Post

I have many unlisted but I'm trying not to spam the thread.

I also am happy to provide new vials for samples too!
