Organics Studio Might Be (Hypothetically) Coming Back

So I stumbled upon this reddit post about an hour ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/fountainpens/comments/4ge5ax/hey_guyshow_have_you_lovely_people_been/

Long story short, it was about a person who just hypothetically finished their masters degree, and was curious what people were looking out for in inks. After returning to reddit and re-reading the post, it hit me that the username is probably the same person who made the Organics Studio inks, and they might seriously be looking to get back into making ink. I cannot confirm nor deny that 100%, but definitely worth going over and commenting what you're looking for as far as ink goes, on the off chance it's legit!

I could use a Blue Merle Junior which doesn't turn gray.

Hmmmm....I have such a dislike of the OS guy, it would prevent me from participating. Even if he could make the color changing ink from the Harry Potter books.

I will put my money that he is going to improve his Iron Gall formulation... ;)

I don't have a user account in reddit... Can someone ask for this... "A Blue Merle that doesn't turn to grey"...

I would love to read the reply.

I have to say I was a strong supporter of OS inks when they were available. Some of them were really great. The Lewis Carroll Queen's Rose is an amazing rose color, not pink, not red. Blue Merle was originally a very unique and wonderful color, but it's properties in the bottle are not shelf-stable. I have three different bottles of Blue Merle and none of them are the same, and they are not what they were when originally purchased. And one of them is basically just gray, and I hate gray inks.

My bottle of Walt Whitman, never was the deep dark green advertised on the box. I thought, oh, it's trying to be El Lawrence, because it was this dirty green-brown. I filled a pen with it a month or so ago, and wondered "where's the green?" It wasn't even an interesting brown.

I really wanted to like OS inks, and their handling was fine, often with good shading, but I don't believe the colors are shelf-stable. All my inks are stored in their boxes, and those boxes stored in a closed bigger box. So no light has effected these inks. The formulations of these inks needs improvement, imo.

Mention has been made of IG inks. I personally have no interest in IG inks. I bought one of KWZ IG inks, and it's certainly fine, but it just doesn't move it or interest me. Permanence isn't a quality I'm looking for, and if I want that I can use Sailor's Kiwa-Guro nano-pigmented ink. Or something else on the market, I don't need an IG ink.

I have plenty of inks to keep me happy from Noodler's, KWZI, Sailor, MB, even though there certainly are very good inks from other makers.

I wish the maker of OS inks success in whatever field of endeavor he has worked so hard in college to achieve.

I wouldn't say no to another bottle of Aristotle.

I liked some of the inks (Blue Merle, Mark Twain, Emily Dickinson -- even though it was awfully bright to represent someone who was basically a recluse -- and and the exclusive ink Purplillusion; Potassium was okay in a broad nib). Did not like some of the others at ALL (unlike wasteland I can very easily say no to Aristotle -- and I generally like IG inks).

And some, I never got to try: the Lewis Carroll sounds interesting, and some of the blues looked kinda cool.

I have a large bottle of Mark Twain, which is your standard blue/black with a slight greenish cast. Nothing particularly special about it. I did put a little phenol in it because of reports of fungus in some OS inks.

I never cared for the few OS inks I tried, but if he could crack the formula for Parker Penman Sapphire he'd probably sell more than all his other inks combined.

I did this too late to save my bottle....It stank, too.

White_Lotus, thank you for turning me on to Queen's Rose. I do like the color a lot.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
