Help Me Choosing My First Really Expensive Pen

From reading your initial post, it seemed you were much more excited about the Andy Warhol design, so I would go with that one. Personally I like the Rouge et noir design. I think these two pens are very different in terms of design, differentiated mostly by:

1) modern look vs. vintage-inspired

2) size of the nib, and size of the pen in general

and then ...price

But, honestly, once you reach this price range, even if $200 is a lot, it is already a very expensive pen, and if it's the difference between getting what you want and not getting it, you might want to go for it. But if it's over your internal limit of what you feel comfortable paying for a pen, then it's not worth it... just my 2 cents.

I bet the pen stores will have one Rouge et noir to try for size (it is slim and heavy imo); they might not have the great writers pens though unless it's a big pen store.

I feel intrigued by the Strauss and Brahms aswell, maybe I will look into them a bit more aswell. Some of the other Writer's Edition are nice aswell, but some are hard to get or at inflated prices.

Thank you to everyone for your advice so far!
