Wonderful fpupulin! Let's see pens and watches together! Is this an EF and to get your line variation was it modified? I suspect not as the Hemmingway nib does seem to have some spring to it..

Best regards,

Phil

Hi Phil: the nib of my Hemi is effectively an EF, and it was not modified.

When it was new, I had however to fix the tins, which were slightly misaligned. I bravely did the job by myself, putting pressure with a nail on the top of one tin, and on the bottom of the other, until they reached to correct position.

Since then, she writes and draws like a dream...

The watch in the photo is an Omega Railmaster, second generation, in 39.2 mm: one of my most treasured watches.

WW-II issue JLC pocket watch and early (original) Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watch

KAC, that JLC is simply magnificent. Your Hemingway has great friends!

Photos of pens at work are my preferred. They feel so plenty of true life, with their exact aim and scope...

Is it inked with Collodi? Hemingway and Collodi is, at the moment, the pair that I favor.

Hemingway at work: correcting the journal proofs, before sending it to the press. With a good cup of coffee...

Great idea to start photo threads on the forum! It's always a pleasure to see the pens at use or in beautifully orchestrated environments.

Unfortunately, I have no Hemingway to participate myself. Keep the pictures coming!

Best regards,

S.

Here are my two cents :) :)

Hey man! That is simply great! For a moment I had the impression to see my beloved Nikon FE2 with the 85mm f/1.4 AiS, a set of camera and lens that made astonishing photos for me...

I like so much the Nikon Df, pure, simple, a real photographic instrument. And that lens! I still use sometimes my 85mm f1.4 AiS with my digital camera, but the 85 mm on the DX sensor makes no much sense. Almost non-existent depth of field at 1.4, however, looks great also on the DX!

Congratulations, mate, for the pen, and the camera and lens!

At work on a soft-cover Moleskine, with Collodi ink on the left, and Toffee Brown for the drawing on the right page.
