Looking For A Really Rich And Vibrant Red

I just love the color of the red-crested cardinal because it's really rich and eye catching. These birds can really capture my attention even though I've seen them a lot and they're fairly common here. Can anyone recommend a red ink that's as vibrant and rich as the red-crested cardinal's head? Do you know of any inks that closely resembles it? I will be grateful for any recommendations that you can provide. 😀

I second Poppy Red. hard to find a bright orange leaning ink, and this one is it. Most of them are magenta leaning. Two thumbs up for Poppy Red.

 It's for Yew!bastardchildlil.jpg

Well, there's always Levenger Cardinal Red. :)

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Or Diamine Classic Red. A good true red.

Thanks for the brilliant ink suggestions! :) I think Diamine Poppy Red is the closest to the Red-crested. Why aren't there more orange leaning reds? :/

A red that find leans a touch orange is Noodler's Fox. It's the only red I use at this point.

Oooh. It seems like a nice color. Doesn't it come in a larger bottle though?

Looks like a red orange. I'd say Diamine Wild Strawberry or Noodlers Fox Red. I have 2 samples of both, didn't really like the hints of orange.

I wish it did, but as I understand it the dye components are more expensive for Fox. But considering it's a bulletproof red ink, I'm not going to complain too much.
