I was at the NYC boutique the other day. These pens are magnificent, but were just too thin for me, so I passed.....

 

The lady at the boutique told me I was the 5th person this week to ask about width and whether MB was considering a larger version....

The pen's substantial weight compensates for its narrow diameter. This is going to be an easy pen to carry around.

I asked our boutique yesterday. Being such a small country Australia, they are expecting it in June at the earliest. Can't blame me for not buying from the local outfit :-)

I quite agree - it takes 24 hours maximum to fly pens in from Germany. I have already ordered my LE Rubber version from Europe.

Just got mine a coral red this evening from Kuala Lumpur MB boutique. The MB sales guy said that the pen arrived today & I was the first buyer! The price here is $889 for the coral red & $740 for the black.

This collection will be joined with the serpent cufflinks & leather notebook.

Are the regular black and coral versions numbered limited editions? Or are they more like the special editions, ie no limit in the production numbers just that they will cease production after a year.

Caved and ordered a coral version. The serpent eyes and two tone nib are magic. Receive it in one loooooong week.
