Recommend Me A Nib! (Conid Bulkfiller)

Hello, I have a Conid Bulkfiller (regular size) with an EF titanium nib, but I am keen on playing around with it a bit now and trying something different in this pen.

I know that it takes a #6 but am unsure which nibs from other manufacturers would readily fit in there. I'm interested in anything really, vintage or contemporary, but if I go a modern nib I'd like something a bit fancy if any nibs from the higher end manufacturers would fit. Thing is though I don't really know where to start looking.. there are plenty of loose nibs out there, but I've no idea which nibs from what pens would suit my Bulkfiller.

Do you have any recommendations for my pen? Would the nib from a Montblanc 146 fit? I'm definitely happy to spend a bit of money on the right nib! B)

Any nib that would fit a Bock #6 feed will work :).

I could be mistaken, but I thought an MB146 had a #5 nib - can't find mine right now.

HTH, warm regards, Wim

There is a thread with other nibs on bulkfillers, look for it on the other brands-Europe forum (sorry, smartphone, cant link right now).

Hi Wim, yes I know that they'll take a standard size 6, but that's all I know haha! What I need to find out is which other pen brands & models also use size #6 nib too, so that I know what to search for. Unfortunately many of the upmarket brands like Montblanc, Omas, etc. use their own pen model / nib size conventions instead.

I did see it read that the Montblanc 146 takes a size #6 nib, whilst the larger 149 takes a #9. If I could confirm that then at least I know that a 146 nib would work out for me! (It's probably far too convenient to be true..)

Thank you Sir, will go snuffle around. *doffs cap* :)
