Are The Acrylic Kaweco Sketch Ups Discontinued?

Got this the other day, but when I went to look it up online to see what other colors they had it seems like at their website they only advertise a brass and chrome version, there appears to be no plastic or acrylic Kaweco 5.6mm pencils advertised.

 

So wondering if they were discontinued or just a limited run or something like that?

I guess the metal bodied or simple monotone was their best sellers?

well just an update the Kaweco Art Sport series has been discontinued, maybe the acrylic supply ran out or wasnt selling well I won't be surprised if the other Acrylic models are also affected this is according to Sebastian Gutberlet who I do not know but is labeled in out FPN-P group as the marketing director of Kaweco

That's a shame, I liked that look with their brand from what I saw online and the one I have in hand seems like real decent material. Just not really into demonstrators or all-brass/aluminum.

Sad, so sad, those pens were things of tremendous beauty. I especially coveted the amber one.

Check out Cult Pens, they carry the avaibale range. I have a high end pencil and fountain pen and low end pencil. The AL Sport pencil stopped working (don't know what I did and could not fix it) Kaweco replied to me prerrty quick and their UK distributer sent me a new one by return post even though it was a little out of warranty. Highly reccomended both as pens and after sales service.
