L'etalon With Loose Nib/feed And Section

hi. just purchased a sterling silver L'etalon. it is gunked up with old ink but that is easy to take care of. what i am worried about is that the nib/feed is very easy to remove from the section. a very gentle pull and out the whole thing comes. for comparison it takes 2-3 times more effort to remove the cap from the pen. as well the plastic on the section is loose on the gold part of the section that contains the claw. does any one have any help with this. the orange o-ring is intact. can the o-ring be easily be replaced in case it is dry? do i just need to glue the plastic part of the section back down? please see pics to see what i mean and how much action the plastic part has.
