Hello fellow pens enthusiasts,

 

My name is Quentin, i used fps as a child in school, those were very cheap watermans and parkers, they left a memory of scratchiness and ink everywhere (im a leftie), i wasnt really inclined to use a nibbed instrument again. However, last year, i went through a period in my life so peculiar that i had to journal it, to always remember what happened. I began writing with a nicer than average ballpoint but i wanted to upgrade even more.

Thus finally, i ordered my first pen, a Pilot MR (same as the famous metropolitan but takes int cartdridges, i believe it s an european thing) in medium nib. Writing on a Moleskine, the only notebook brand who looks fancy and that i find easily in shops here, not knowing about anything else, i found the medium nib didnt work very well on that paper so i bought an actual Metropolitan with fine nib, with Pilot Cartdridges then i used the converter.

Boy did that change the whole experience, i wrote an entire book with the pen performing great and i kept using it. Now i bought a Kaweco Sport and a Jinhao X750 and im lurking over TWSBI and Lamy for my next purchases... Yes, one could say that i am hooked, now i desire a collection of inks and paper.

 

Today, I dont journal anymore, only some thoughts that occur to me, however i use my pen mainly for snail mail and im currently looking for penpals. If you want to write about any topic be it super formal or the lamest joke you have in stock, id be glad to read it. Im interested in many things and very curious, though i particularily dig talking about psychology, philosophy, art, politics (lots to learn), religion... Well you got it dont you ?
