I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Hi,

HEdS remains one of my top shelf inks.

To quote myself, "It will attract the reader and keep them interested, but will not captivate them nor will it bore them."

I hope that over time you also find it worthy of such. :)

Bye,

I ran Eclat de Saphir for several months in a Parker 61 with a capillary filler. No issues with color or behavior in the pen. Eventually though, I just needed a break, and had a bunch of samples to try, so that pen got flushed (and flushed and flushed because, well, it's a 61 capillary filler...). Once I decided to swap it out, I wrote it dry, flushed it just enough to get ink flowing, and then repeated the (write dry/partial flush) until the ink got so pale as to be illegible, then flushed it really well.

Or, pretty much Sandy1's quote....

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
