If you had to choose 5 diamine inks to represent the brand what would you choose?

Im currently looking to buy a twsbi eco with some diamine inks and alt goldgrun and am having a hard time deciding. This should help!

The inks I have chosen so far are:

  1. Autumn Oak
  2. Oxblood
  3. Maybe sherwood green
  4. One of the turquoise colors

I have my Eco (with stub nib) inked with Diamine Asa Blue now and it is amazing! It really stands out. Ultra Green would have a similar effect in the green family, as well as Imperial Purple if you like purple. So many great inks in that brand, it's hard to go wrong in my opinion.

Imperial Purple, or Imperial Blue

Two of my faves are Schubert and Tchakovsky, which were part of the music set. You can buy them separately in 30 ml bottles on Diamine's website now, though. :)

Does it show shading? I was planning to go with Mediterranean for the lighter color

First choice as always the amazingly reliable and nicely coloured Midnight. After that, the order varies with time (not only because of my own changing preferences but also due to the launching of new inks by Diamine). At the moment it is: Blue Velvet, Silver Fox, Ochre, Salamander.

  2. Oxblood
  3. Sherwood green
  4. R&K Alt Goldgrun

I need help deciding on a bright blue/ turquoise ink. One that shades well would be awesome.

I like asa blue a lot but I wanted something far from the blue school inks I was forced to use for many years.. (lamy blue)

Eau de Nil looks nice but is a bit too green. Havasu, Mediterranean, Aqua, Florida look nice color wise..

I have Blue Black, Classic Red,Steel Blue and Sherwood Green. I have a sample of Saddle Brown in a pen right now. Very seriously considering getting a bottle.
