I've never had a 45. If they're slimmer than my "51" (which I hold right at the clutch ring), then they're probably too slim for me.

 

And I don't have money to spare for shipping anyway.

I had a pen identical to the green one when I was in school many years ago. If the nib is in good condition, I can offer it a home. It is a plus that it has a converter inside. Not that I need another pen, but that one would have a certain sentimental appeal.

You can believe me or not, but I'm new and crazy, so all I have are: Montblanc, Wahl-Eversharp, Jinhao, and Pelikan. So I don't have any Parkers in my hoard. I would try either. Much obliged.

What a generous offer. I'm new to all of this and trying to recapture some of the stuff I had in my younger days. I'm learning about the 45s. I'd like the Red Arrow if chosen. Oh, I'd want to use it, if that makes a difference.
