Lamy Safari Dark Lilac! Coming Soon! And A Re-Launch!

Do you find that the pen feels flimsy and doesn't cap firmly as what FOUR X FOUR mentioned above? How would you compare the quality of make of the dark lilac compared to, say, the matte black version? Thanks.

I don't have the dark charcoal but I have a white Safari & the Apple Green LE from a few years ago. The Dark Lilac MAY be slightly lighter but I can't say for certain. The cap clicks as firmly as my other Safaris.

But as for the ink... Oh my, it's the first time I've been blown away by a Lamy ink and as the pen came with a pack of cartridges, I now have 2 bottles coming my way.

My 2 bottles of Dark Lilac arrived today. Now I have the pen, 4 cartridges and 2 bottles. If Dark Lilac doesn't become part of the permanent pen and ink range, I'll be surprised. But at least I am set!

That is great the ink turned out to be a great purple. I had to get the pen and ink myself.
