Don't get too excited yet...my "shipping label created" on 6/7...but the package hasn't been turned over to the USPS yet...there are NO scans...not even the first local one which will occur in West Palm Beach when the package is actually "shipped"...

 

So labels created...but not shipped...at least my package that is the status.

80% of all pens have been shipped. The remaining few will go out today.

If you only paid the $50 pre-payment, please get in touch with me and let me know whather you still want the pen or a refund. Also, please check that your address was included in your emails or in the Paypal page with your payment.

I've found this very confusing. I have no idea what Pentrace is, and it's not clear to me if the pen can still be ordered.

Pentrace is the oldest website dedicated to pen collecting. It was established in the year 2000 and is still going strong, with over 6,000 members. It offers three discussion boards and is unique in that its Home Page is a collection of hundreds of articles, stories and reviews that make the site a virtual encyclopedia of pens. It can be found at www.newpentrace.com and www.newpentrace.net

In the year 2004 Pentrace issued a LE pen in a production run of 100 pens that sold out in a few hours and even today is still a desirable collectible; this year we decided to produce another limited-run pen, made for us in Italy by Marlen in a unique green resin. The new pen is being delivered to the people who ordered it this week. We made 107 pens, all sold before production started. They can no longer be ordered, as this was strictly a limited edition pen.

Pentrace Pen : don't overflex, please!

 

 

The Pentrace nib is nicely springy and one is easily tempted to push it to its limit: please remember this is not a superflex nib as the vintage ones were. It is designed to go from F to the width of a B nib. You go beyond that and you are on thin ice.. We can replace sprung nibs, but we prefer to see the pens used the way they were designed to be. Thanks and enjoy these fine pens!

I may have grabbed 88 or 108. Especially the latter. Pity. I remember looking at the Marlen Aleph last year.
