As a general question...why buy a glitter ink only to filter out the glitter?

 

After many false starts, I'm having great success making my own glitterfied inks. I only use them in inexpensive cartridge pens. You'd need a wet writer and a cart that has a mixing ball, and a lot of shakin'.

I had a feeling they were pretty close. I suggested the comparison because I only have Terracotta; not a fan of Brandy Bejazzle - oops sorry. Dazzle ;-)

Of course not but please bear in mind that all my images of the 'Shimmering' inks, as with most of my basic reviews are just flat-bed scans. Any particular (I mean the ink metallic components, not specific references) aren't very evident at all. I merely had done the original stuff as I always do - basic colour comparisons. I was quite interested to see just how close the coloured dye/whatever components of these two inks was.
