Need To Know What Nibs Fit An Aristocrat Pen

I have an Aristocrat pen with a feeder (I assume it is for this pen) but no nib. Being an "off" brand, I don't think there are Aristocrat nibs because the one reference to one with a nib didn't have a "named" nib, it had a nib marked "Warranted 14k 8".

Anyway, I'm wondering if anybody knows what kind of nib I should look for, if I choose to be adventurous.

Apparently the "Aristocrat was made by Beaumel, New York.Generally high quality pens over a number of years." according to Happy Harry in the topic "Mysterious Pen Identification".

Thanks,

Rodney

Perhaps the "8" means a number 8 nib?

It does mean a number 8 nib, but there wasn't a standard size across manufacturers. I have a couple of Warranted number 8 nibs right now. One is a huge nib, about the same size as a full-size Duofold Flat Top's nib. The other one is about the size of a Waterman #4, which is slightly bigger than a #2.

phaus, that is what I'd read: that the sizing was inconsistent. So while I too would respond as pajaro, just ask my wife, I was asking the question with the assumption that most members knew more than I do and therefore knew about the inconsistency in sizing at least Warranted nibs. Thus I didn't include the inconsistent sizing issue in my original post.

Would it help in sizing a nib to know the inner diameter of the section?
