Chesterfield Antique Orchid = Diamine Damson ?

This is a review of the new ink from xfountainpens.com called Chesterfield Antique Orchid. I purchased this at an introductory price of USD$4.00 for 50ml. I found the ink to be very well behaved and pleasant to write with. At first I thought this would be similar to the old version of Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses (which I don't own.) But after writing a few pages of text I believe it is a near duplicate of Diamine Damson-- an ink that I have become quite fond of. You can really see the similarity in the ink smears near the bottom of the review.

Good to know! Thanks for posting the comparison -- I had been wondering about the Chesterfield "Antique" line and which Diamine inks they were (I don't know why they couldn't just use the same name equivalents, the way the Architect line inks are obvious as to which De Atramentis inks they really are...). :glare:
