Pens That You Think Are Priced Wrongly

I, personally, was only providing the honest observation that the average person in the United State (that is someone who doesn't ever visit this forum, which is 99.99% of the people) only recognizes Montblanc as a prestigious pen brand.

Or as THE fountain pen brand. Acquaintances and co-workers, upon seeing me writing with (usually a Nakaya) fountain pen, invariably asked, "Oo! Is that a Montblanc?" They don't know! Civilians just don't know. Or care.

The Platinum Preppy. $3-$4 for a good, nicely writing fountain pen that comes in three nib grades including Japanese Extra Fine? I think they're selling themselves short. :D

Christ knows what they'll do when they find out that you can get pens that aren't fountain pens from montblanc. ;)
