I join my voice to migo's and cyber6's. I own that same model and colour.

Such a generous pif. That is extremely representative of what the forum is: great community and solidarity spirit.

Bravo!

I believe I am eligible and would love to be considered for this - this pen/color/nib size combo has been on my radar for a while (and I've been wanting to try a Platinum), but my eyes are far bigger than my wallet (and grad student stipend). Thank you so much for your generosity!

Would love to enter for this. I only have two gold nib pens so I would love to add one into my collection.

Oh darn! I forgot as I posted this entry that you needed to be on here for six months. I'm pulling out as I only have four months. Good luck to the rest!

Thank you jodi_maloney for being up-front about it. That makes it easier for me.

Perhaps there will be one in a few months you can get into.

Enjoy the blessing of giving!

The pen is on my list some day. We are all fortunate to have the pleasure of Pens.

Cheers!

Howdy FPers

Thank you for the interest.

I want to also thank the folks that aren't entries who made some very nice comments.

I will assign numbers as members request to be in the drawing. Some of you may remember how I let the Grandchildren do the drawing for the L2K. This PIF's draw will be done by my Mother!!! I asked her for fun, but also March 6th will mark the 70th anniversary of my wonderful late Father and my Mother. We lost him a number of years ago but he is still here in our hearts. And we still celebrate their anniversary. I really like involving family.

Thanks again to fellow pen people like you.

Thank you Aggie, and how lovely that your Mum will be making the draw on her 70th Anniversary. Losing someone so beloved is always hard, but remembering that person and continuing to include their memory even in small everyday ways really helps to keep them around.

Please enter my name in this PIF draw.

March 17 is a long way off so I hope Lady Luck will be close by me during the draw.

The 3776 is an excellent pen with its deep wine color and long lasting ink supply.

Just wanted to chime in to say this is a very lovely pen to write with, the winner will be mighty pleased.

I have a couple and they're among my favorite pens, so definitely not entering. I cannot resist an opportunity to praise this pen model. I always recommend it as a step up from steel nibs. I have used XF F and BB... all amazing.

Such a generous PIF. Bless you and the wonderful spirit of FPN.

I rarely look at PIF's but "Platinum 3776" caught my eye since I read the reviews & video just yesterday.

Your offer is too generous. The family anniversary so touching. Thanks for sharing both Aggie. :)

I've been very content with my red Plaisir - a very under-sung reliable pen. It's fine point nib even in its modest tier configuration is truly an excellent writer, and why I never hesitate to recommend it to new ones here at FPN. Plaisir also has the special cap system, (it really works), which led me to the 3776.

The only way I could toss my name in here would be to thereafter offer a pen of similar quality that does not fit my own hand. I think that would fit the spirit of FPN - PIF.

On that basis I'm in, and wish everyone well and good cheer!

You and me both! I have Plaisirs in green and black, and my wife has one in red. And I do my best, every time I run across a starter pen thread, to not just recommend it, but also explain why I find it superior to the Metro and Safari (without in any way denying those other pens' excellent qualities).

This is NOT an entry.

So I am new to the group, new enough I am still getting used to getting around. I came across this PIF and having no idea what a Platinum #3776 is, I looked it up.

Oh my good gravy boats! This is INCREDIBLE generosity and I am absolutely astonished at the wish to pay it forward by the OP. Thank you for that generosity and I look

forward to getting to know people (and their pens) in the future. Thank you and have a fabulous day!

I believe I'm eligible for this PIF as I joined back in August of 2015, I'm a gold member, and I don't own a single Platinum pen. :)

Thanks so much for your generosity! It's people like you that make this an amazing community. I'd love to be considered for this drawing.

I appreciate the nice comments about the generosity of my PIFs, I've been blessed to be able to share pens like I have.

I do have other pens that I plan to put in Classifieds. So there will be some nice ones available in the future.

I've been under the magical, mystical spell of P, P, & I for only about 4 years. In that time I've learn from other members that sharing, whether knowledge or PIFs, is what we as FPN members do.

One more thing, there have been over 30 folks enter this PIF, so I'm going to do something special, but I'm not " gonna " tell now 😎. So eligible members throw you name in hat 😊. I've allowed plenty of time so anyone worldwide can have time to enter. PIF is postage paid anywhere.

Then your up-keep.

May be your Down-falll!!!

Hello,

I'd like to enter this PIF. Currently I don't have any Platinum FPs.

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow

I've been eyeing this pen (in this exact colour and nib width!) for months!

The only Japanese pens I've tried so far are Metropolitan and Vanishing Point / Décimo; Metropolitan has already gone its way (not that far, gave it to my mother), and I'd love to step out of the Pilot zone.

I've been a member since July '15, and am a gold member.

Thank you for the generosity and opportunity!
