Waterman's Intense Black - Mould Or Dust - Picture Included

Could anyone be kind enough to put me out of my misery concerning something that might be mould (or perhaps isn't) in my bottle of ink.

 

I haven't seen any growth on my pen, but I did refill an old bellows pen for a relative from the bottle in question about four or five days ago.

 

I'm not yet loosing sleep over it, but it is haunting my dreams.

I can not. see it well, but even if it is dust it is contaminated. Don't try to save it; toss it and move on; if you want to save the bottle, clean it thoroughly. There is an active topic on cleaning ink bottles with great advice.

Peter I think it is a life form. Now many of us around here will tell you to lose the ink and move on, I would suggest you consider this to be a canary in the mine. You probably have mold in the water or air that you want to remove.
