The Pelikan 120 School Pen

I don't know, this is the first vintage Pelikan (or any Pelikan) that I have handled. Another user has said that their 120s don't look like this, so perhaps the previous owner wore a foot into the tipping. Do you have any images showing what "normal" tipping looks like for vintage Pelikans?

The closest I can find is this comparison between nibs from 2003 and 1990. That and a few examples of nibs that needed retipping on Greg Minuskin's website...

Apologies, on closer inspection you can see signs of use. IMO doesn't need retipping, when I came across nibs like this that did not suit the way I hold the pen I just smoothened them with micro mash the way it suited me. I hope someone who knows more than me can help you with this.

Looks so nice for a 'school pen.'

I'll bet plenty of adults bought them too :D

As far as I'm concerned, the only concession to being a "school pen" is the code on the barrel so classmates could tell their pens apart.
