Diamine Flower Set Carnation

My recent purchase is the Diamine Flower Set. I like bright colours so I prefer these to the serious colours of Music Set. I plan to review them all but it's going to take a long time.

 

Carnation is the one that attracts me the most. It's not my usual kind of colour but it looks freaky in the splash with the dark outline and the sheen. I like it.

In actual writing it's not as interesting as the splash but it still looks good.

I really love Carnation, so it's nice to see it get some appreciation. It's pretty unique from other pinks in my collection.

I'm not hugely fond of pink ink, but this one is pretty! I like that it's not a bright shade.

Carnation *is* really pretty. It's lighter and softer (i.e., less vibrant) than De Atramentis Apple Blossom, but is still dark enough to be legible.
