Not waiting anymore, it came today... Franklin-Christoph P66 Antique Glass with a Medium Cursive Italic nib. Haven't decided on the ink to eyedropper it with. In time, in time...

I know, it's not a Pelikan. Not -all- my pens have beaks :D

Is it actually glass? Because that would be cool.

You think so? Perhaps, but no, it is not actually glass. It looks so real though I'm finding myself treating it as if it is... I don't think it's as fragile as it seems though. And I put a small blue cart in it just to see how it writes and it writes REALLY well. Loving this one already.

Yeah, the F-C medium CI nib is outstanding. I got the gold one on my model 19--it was a little stingy on flow, but that was easily corrected.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Aurora 88

I tend more toward brands where the company makes its own nib. Aurora was a missing one that was still interesting in other respects.

I have been long idle in this hobby / passion, as in: writing with my pens on a daily basis, but not acquiring new ones, buying the same ink bottle when one was empty (Koninginnenachblauw, and as I am situated in Holland that is real easy for me to buy) but decided I deserved a christmas present this year, and now that became ehm two presents - you all must now how that went  :

- A pendleton brown fine CI on a Bexley Owners Club 2015
- A MB 149 with a Fine nib (second hand, 1980's)

I can't wait!

(Hoping one of them arrives before Christmas, as I am spending that away from home with family...)

I'm waiting for my Pelikan M400, White Tortoise. It's been on its way for almost 3 weeks and is almost here. There is 1 more mail delivery before Christmas and the Post Office closes until 29/12. My fingers are crossed, tightly.

I'm waiting on this- to me unidentifiable- Omas set. It was described as a limited edition made for Fahrney's, connected a 90th anniversary? It's my first Omas pen so I'm very excited :D

It sounds interesting!

I can wait for my Bexley.....

Interesting indeed. Received it two hours ago, inked with Montblanc Toffee Brown and managed to fill a couple of pages. Amazing nib. Not for everyone. Good for me.

Practice, patience, perseverance

Wow, those are awesome! Grats!

Just ordered a Kaweco Sport in purple (medium nib, with clip) because the color, in a photo DebbieOhi posted, was much nicer than I was picturing.

The first pen of the New Year coming my way is a Parker 51 Vacumatic that I'm going to fix up and sell back once I've got it working nice. I'll be trying to fund my own pen acquisition by fixing up pens as I can find them and squirrelling away the difference.
