Nothing fancy ... Sheaffer 300 ... Amazon.ca has been rotating 50% off Sheaffer pens for about a week now .

Well, apparently a Jinhao x450 Green Marble.

My sis really needs to not leave her amazon orders page open after she's bought my birthday present...

On the downside, I was kind of hoping for the Jinhao 500. On the other hand, that means I have an excuse to get a 3-pack with all the colors off ebay. Hm...

I have a Platinum 3776 Century bourgogne with B nib on it's way. Ordered it last weekend. Amazon/Japanese seller.

And, finally, this lovely "Vis-o-pen Aikin Lambert burgundy marbleized"; this one likely will need servicing.

I've been wanting a couple of vintage celluloid pens, especially a nice red one; with this and the caramel/red swirl above, I feel I can stop looking now.

Just ordered a stainless steel Kaweco Lilliput that will serve as my "shoulder bag" fountain pen. A 14c BB nib ground to a 0.7 mm butter-line-stub will dispense Pelikan's very dry but water resistant blue/black ink.

No more struggling with ball point pens at banks or offices. A practical fountain pen will always be on hand. (Unless of course I forget my bag :D )

I'm currently prowling German 'That'-bay for cheapies. So far I bought:

- one surprise/nondescript Safari in charcoal

- one NOS Reform 120 (semi-hooded) (I already have one and like it very much, this one will be a spare)

- one Kaweco V85 (because it looked to have an italic B nib)

- and one vintage (20 years old, out of production) bottle of Pelikan ink

I wonder if I 'need' more...
