I've a GAMA Kuyil Matte Black Ebonite on its way. I'm blaming Samrat. After reading his review I couldn't resist. This is my first Indian pen, likely not my last.

Pelikan M805 Stresemann... was going to be my Christmas gift to me, but "me" couldn't wait.

I just ordered a new nib to fit my Esterbrooks. I had a 9128 (flexible fine) which had great flex, but it was bent and damaged and didn't write worth a darn (it was that way when I got it). Problem is, I liked what it had to offer. I tried making minor adjustments, but it didn't do it. So I found one on ebay (there were 3) and bought it. More than I wanted to spend, but I'm trying to not purchase any more pens for a while (after my ebay watch list clears).

Still waiting for my Wing Sung 2007 which may or may not have been lost in mail somewhere between China and here :P

My sympathies, as I'm nearing the end of my extra bonus week of waiting for some Hero Jumbos which were last scanned in Shanghai at the beginning of October. I fear they have actually been, well, Shanghaied...

I ordered a Kaweco Sport in mint and some ink at Appelboom last Friday on fountain pen day :).

Does anyone here know how long it typically takes for an order to be shipped from Appelboom? My order is still on 'pending' and I'm pretty eager to start using a new pen (I sent a message via the form on the website yesterday but haven't heard from them yet).

Huh, should have posted about it here earlier - they turned up yesterday, on the very last day of the extra week of waiting. Although I have my suspicions that it's a new parcel labeled to look like it was the original and then sent by air, which is an unusual approach to a delivery failure. Perhaps the Chinese aren't as ready to throw blame on China Post as we are on the Royal Mail!
