I am waiting for a Montblanc 220. I am very excited about the nib, which appears to be a white gold double broad or at least a broad. Here is a picture from the seller:

Will love to see a writing sample when you get it. Have some thoughts about a nib like this ;)

With pleasure, I will provide a writing sample as soon as I get the pen :)

I was naughty and just purchased 6 JinHaos - I keep hearing their supposed to be good, and I wanted a new pen. I like the colors that were offered. (5 250s and 1 450x). One looks like it has flames on it - I'm thinking that one, with red ink, might be a good Christmas present for my son (who is a Minnesota State University - Moorhead dragon.).

Waterman Ideal - blue ink; Esterbrook 2048 - brown ink; Waterman Carene - black ink

A Dark Lilac Safari, with a converter, for a friend. She liked the look of mine and told me over the weekend that she would really like to have a fountain pen. She's trying the M nib for now. I had previously gotten her a few bottles of KWZI ink in the last FPN group buy, and when the pen comes in I'll walk her through the pre-flushing process and how to fill it.

Thought she might like a Pilot Metropolitan, because it's a cheaper pen, but she was just so enamored of the Dark Lilac color.... (Her second choice, if the Dark Lilac was no longer available, would have been Red.)

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Yum. That looks like an OBB, or at least an OB.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

As a friend described Traditional Angling ... "Beside the water I discovered (or maybe rediscovered) the quiet. The sort of quiet that allows one to be woven into the tapestry of nature instead of merely standing next to it." Estaban.

I received the Montblanc 220 yesterday. I had some problems with it. If you are interested, i created a topic here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/312424-installing-a-sac-in-a-montblanc-220p/

I also posted a writing sample, for those of you who were interested.

Just purchased a Parker 75 Black Lacquer with a medium nib. I've got a Parker 75 Cisele already that I've bought several nibs for, so I'm all set up! And impatient...

I'm waiting on a custom pen... but now into the seventh month of waiting I'm kinda losing interest to be honest. I feel that this will prove to be a waste of $250 that could have gone toward something more appropriate. I guess we learn from our mistakes, sometimes.

Black Waterman Carene with medium nib. Also a Nakaya Portable Cigar in Kikyo with a broad nib.

Happiness isn't getting what you want, it's wanting what you've got.
