What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2016

Enjoy!! I have his original non-fountain pens and Mach3 razor handle. Top notch quality. Be prepared for some weight with the copper.

Last night I ordered a Tactile Turn GIST pen in copper. My first copper pen, and I had not heard of Tactile Turn pens until Brian Goulet announced yesterday that they are now carrying them at Goulet Pens. They are carrying the all black Makrolon and the all copper models. Should get it Saturday or Monday, depending on when Goulet can get my order in the mail.

Pens are made by a small machine shop in Texas. You can read more about them at Tactile Turn's web site or Brian's blog.

A Montegrappa LE Rosso Veneziano with a B nib reground to a full width stub by Mottishaw. I also asked for it to be a gusher: 8-9/10 flow. With the ebonite feeder I have high hopes.

One more Man 100 Patrician to arrive, red, to sit with the blue and the green.

For some reason or other, a Dupont Montparnasse in gold with no further purchases planned for that brand. On the other hand, I decided specifically against buying an affordable silver godron Man 100 because I am not collecting Man 100 as such (just some of them) and normally buy gold, not silver, for all accoutrements. What restraint!!

The black delta horsepower. It was 45% off of what I paid for the red one, 2 years ago

The red one shows alittle better

I'm waiting on three purchases from eBay: a Hero 616, Jinhao X450 in marbled blue, and a Jinhao 8812 Rosewood.

And tonight I just ordered a TWSBI Diamond 580AL - I'm really excited for this one and I'm trying to decide which ink to put in it first.

That first inking...always a special time.

The TWSBI 580 is a great pen. Enjoy.

Possibly my first Sheaffer Snorkel - listing says Snorkel but I suspect it's just a tip dip, which is fine by me. If it is, in fact, a Snorkel, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

An Aurora 88K...with original box. :D

This will be my third 88. The previous two (nicargentia cap and gold filled cap 88's) have both been superb writers, I have high hopes for this one.

Three Onotos, a 5601 plunger fill, a 1332 celluloid lever fill, and a BHR plunger fill unnumbered and reported to be from about 1920, with a gold band which looks as though it is one of those aftermarket jeweller efforts which I have seen on some Watermans from the same period. Nibs are numbers 2 and 3.

This is something of a plunge (sorry) on Onotos after being exceptionally pleased with writing with the 3050 I have, and liking both the style and the serviceability; or one could call it continuing plunder of British shores after the descent of the Pound.

We is being robbed! :crybaby:

Look forward to seeing those Onotos!
