After taking a look at Christina's lovely pink Sailor Lecoule in rose quartz, I was perusing through Ebay, and came across this cute little number. Now I'm waiting! :) Think PINK!! Duke P06 - Medium Nib. Weight 30g. Length 130mm. Diameter 12mm.

Normally I post about a pen or lately it's about some interchangeable gold nib units that I'm waiting for (either sourced from a shop or being returned after being stubbed).

This time a good friend surprised me with an incredibly generous gift.

I received a Montblanc 254 (BB), in excellent mechanical, cosmetic & writing condition. This pen holds a ton of ink & its unusually shaped "flügelfeder" nib writes like an absolute dream.

I love being an enabler- especially of all things pink! That's a pretty little number, I'm a fan!

I pulled the trigger on a Decimo that I have been eyeballing for about a year on and off. My birthday is next month- I figure to heck with it. Seems perfect as an EDC pen.

Black Parker 51 Aerometric of an unknown nib size. Bought it mostly for the cap and barrel though for 32€ (including shipping). If it lays out a nice line, well, that is a bonus then. ;) Really want to get the other black 51 that I got yesterday for 3€ a nicer cap (the one it has is dented & scratched), then I will have two exactly matching black 51 Aerometrics with lustraloy caps, the other a nice F and the other a lovely stubbish B.

The tracking information on my remaining Jinhao x450 has finally updated just after I'd resigned myself to having to write another e-mail. It's DHL this time around, too, which is nice. They have super detailed tracking information, which is very fun to watch, especially on items being shipped all the way from China.

The Delta Dolcevita Federico still hasn't been sent. To be fair, the description did state that a handling period of up to 7 days was to be expected, but still... I'm generally impatient and optimistic.

Lamy 2000

Yes, I know it is an obvious choice.

Although the Lamy is much lighter than my Watermans, it felt a good pen when I tried it and I like the design detail, the engineering aspects more than the visual. The ears did not bother me on a test. It is the only pen where I considered that writing with the cap posted might be reasonable. Either way, it will prove an interesting comparison when I am using it.

Hmm, interesting and a little disturbing. I ordered two pens from USA a week ago. For a little while they have been in transit; nothing unusual in that. Checking tracking data again just now, I find they are in Austria, which strikes me as the long way to go from America to Australia, and a common mistake for people to make if they look carelessly or are a little short on their geography studies. This is the shipper doing this, not the seller who had all the correct address elements in to enable me to be found, and with signature required as well as tracking.

Well, for now I will hope they are taking the pens on a tour before safely finding the correct hemisphere on the planet then improving address resolution from there.

As a follow on from the prior post, the Lamy 2000 I mentioned a little earlier arrived today, 24 hours after I ordered it thanks to being on the same coast. All I need for that pen is the ink I have initially designated for it, expected next week. I will still consider the Imporium (now in Austria!) to be my first Lamy when (and if, alas) it arrives, because I chose and ordered it long before the 2000 much as I like the latter on my small experience so far.

I pulled the trigger on the new Wahl Eversharp Deco Band with superflex nib. The hardest decision was whether to get the lapis blue or rosewood ebonite. The rosewood ebonite won. There was something about it that beat out my love of the lapis blue. It's going to be a long month of waiting.

Waiting for a Waterman Perspective to show up at my door tomorrow. For some reason, the last four or five pens I've purchased have been Watermans. Love them all.

My fingers are always inky and I'm always looking for something new.  Interested in trading?  Contact me!

My Dolcevita Federico still hasn't been sent (which is worrying, because it's been a week; on the other hand I bought it from a super reputable seller and the estimated arrival did say June 1st at the earliest), my Jinhao x450 is on the way from china and I just won the auction for two Reform 1745, which is nice.

Mine arrived yesterday, and I'm loving it! My barrel isn't as highly patterned as the promotional pictures, but the grey swirl is much more pearlescent than I'd imagined, and the blue swirl is set off beautifully by the Asa Gao I have sloshing around inside.

Today a check of tracking tells me that Austria knows it is not Australia so is planning to ship, somewhere. Will it go back to USA for another try or will it be forwarded East? Tune in for further instalments. I will. :sigh:

I missed out on the Marmo Incrinato finish in the less expensive Delta Fusion 82 celluloid version from Chatterley. Couldn't resist snagging this Stantuffo with a stub nib:
