After purchasing a Waterman C/F with no cartridge or converter, I bought this:

Because it comes with a cartridge. Paid half as much for this pen and cartridge as I would have for a C/F converter!

My fingers are always inky and I'm always looking for something new.  Interested in trading?  Contact me!

And there's this:

My husband has the matching ballpoint and pencil that were his grandfather's. Thought it would be nice to complete the set.

I might be out of control....

Picked up ten converters for $3.25 w/ free international shipping

My first Jinhao came with one of these and it's actually working really well and I THINK/hope that these converters is international standard size so they will fit some other pens I have. If not, I have a lot of spare converters for Jinhaos :)

The $3.25 w/ free shipping (so 32 cents/per converter) seems to be about the norm.

Here's some options;

One can also try out once luck at auctions as there are always some sitting below three bucks :)

Baoer 701 with med.nib. I believe the nib is a #5, and if so I will order a Nemosine #5 1.1 stub.

Jinhao 886 - yellow. I already have (3) of these, and decided to add the yellow, The 886 is a surprisingly smooth and wet writer, with a screw cap & cost for $1.79. I use the 886 as a pocketbook pen.

Ranga Group Buy - Ranga Premium Ebonite ED - Green/Yellow Swirl with a JoWo broad nib! I do need intervention and quickly. I am already thinking about next month's FP purchase. I now have 132 pens, with 4 in transit, and 1 being handmade for shipment in June. I told myself I would stop at 100. Is there a forum for 'penaddiction'??? ;)

Pelikan M101N Tortoiseshell Brown. Aufgestoked.

Wow. That is GORGEOUS! I don't think I've ever seen where the cap was also in the tortoise.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Seems that I'm waiting for an Omas Arco Brown Paragon, this may be getting out of control!

That is a gorgeous pen. :puddle: Enjoy it.

As for me, I just bought a Nakaya Cigar Portable Heki-Tamenuri (Flexible Fine nib) :bunny01: . First Nakaya! I can't wait to put my hands on it!!

Waiting for a Pilot 74, dare I say it a rollerball, to match my 74 FP. Bought it from Engeika but unfortunately their post times to Australia seem to have slowed considerable.

Have an Esterbrook J, a Parker 21, a Pelikan 120 and a TWSBI Vac 700 on the way at the moment. Took an extended break from buying new pens and jumped right back into it. Also have a horde of inks on the way, including a couple of Bung Box Samples, Akkerman Blue-green and Emerald of Chivoir. Going to be fun the next couple of weeks.

I have a Yard-O-Led Viceroy Victorian Grande fountain pen (grail pen!) on the way, to go with the same in Standard. VERY excited! It should arrive Monday or Tuesday of this week :-).

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger on that. I have a purple LAMY Safari rollerball coming this week

As soon as I get the shipping confirmation, I'll be waiting on a Pelikan M75 Go.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Thank you. It looks great in person, too. Some pens look good in the photos, because someone is skilled with lighting and photography. This one is still sparkly and sharp even in real life. Thus:

-- the Tortoiseshell Brown is the deepest of the three,

-- the Lizard is a dark, shiny pen

-- the Tortoiseshell Red is a bright red pen

Someone at Pelikan must have done some scientific study, because I never would have conceived of these three very different pens in one set. But after seeing Sargetalon's photo of the three on the Pelikan's Perch ...

A restored Parker Vacumatic. It will be my first vintage pen! (Yes, I gather I chose one of the least user-friendly vintage filling systems... but I'll learn to love it I hope.)
