What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2016

- Grey Parker 51 Vacumatic with a rolled gold cap & F nib

- White ceramic Pelikan figurine/pen holder, one of those which holds the pen in its beak (15cm high). Nabbed it in an auction, thought it was about time as my flock has been growing at quite a rapid rate...

What did you get the figurine for, price-wise, if I may ask? I keep looking at the small ones (the large sized ones are a tad on the kitschy side for my taste, but at the moment all the small ones are listed for way more than I think they're worth -- I really want one of the blue glazed ones, but settled at DCSS a couple of years ago for a metallic gold one for $20, on the grounds that it was inexpensive and available).

That's a beautiful pen! The pattern almost looks like an aerial photograph of a beach or something.

My 4-pack of Jinhao x450's actually did arrive yesterday, which was very surprising. They're all absolutely lovely writers and very pretty pens.

My micro-mesh also finally arrived (after being lost in the mail since late April), which means that I could fix that horrible Online Academy that I had lying about.

Now I'm still waiting for a Jinhao 8812 with a wooden barrel, the blue x450 that's four days late so far and a Jinhao 159, which, if I'm VERY lucky, could possibly arrive on May 11.

I have mixed feeling about it...but I did end up ordering a Lamy clone...

An orange-and-black metal bodies 599A model from 2014....

This is the model that has the Lamy styled nib as well to really hammer it home and make me feel even worse :)

ASA Galactic with broad nib! This is a beautiful translucent demonstrator ED from India!!!

Jinhao X750 - Pink. Will put a 1.1 stub on it upon arrival. Pink & purple are the new colors for the X750 and X450. Last week received a Jinhao 159 & X750 in a lovely purple. I am very partial to purple.

Waiting on some Jinhao's, namely 2 x x450, 2 x 159, 2 x x750, 4 x 599 (demomstrators).

Couldn't wait so I got a Prera from a store in the meantime and got given a free 599 with some Robert Oster Ink. My pens should be here in the next 9-15 days. I'm hating the waiting game.

Ugh - I've suspended the official 2016 pen purchasing moratorium for moment and just ordered a Lamy 2000. Note - I had a $100 Amazon gift card so it's coming at a greatly reduced price and doesn't really count as a purchase in my mind...

Most of my pens arrived by now (including that Jinhao 8812, which I REALLY didn't expect yet); all that's left now is the Jinhao 159 (which will be my good friend's birthday present. Her pick, by the way, not mine), and a x450 that's over a week late by now. I contacted the seller (better sooner than later, amazon's guarantee thing is time sensitive, after all), and if it's not here in a week, they'll resend it. Which is fine by me /shrugs

Now all I need to do is to not give in to temptation and buy that Bookworm 675, but that's not easy. What a pretty lil bugger that one is... /sigh

I just grabbed this little beauty. Made an offer the seller couldn't refuse now I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's decent.

My fingers are always inky and I'm always looking for something new.  Interested in trading?  Contact me!
