Thank you! The cap required quite a deal of fixing (cap sleeve was loose and needed to be shellacked into place, and the derby/top was very loose as well when I took it apart--had to use a rosin-based sealant to close it up). But I got it all fixed up and it makes for a great workhorse. I will treasure it for a long, long, long long time. ^_^

I wish I had the ability to restore pens. Don't have the touch, nor the tools. I have to send my out for restoration.

Apart from the Levenger Kyoto, which is scheduled for delivery today, they will also be 'dropping off' a Conklin Duragraph Forest Green with a stub nib. That leaves me waiting for a Jinhao 8812 Rose Wood Barrel FP. I'm hoping to lay my hands on a Bexley Stalwart later on today?

I won an eBay auction for a gray Esterbrook J yesterday with 9461 nib. Will be my first resac job. (4th Estie)

Hello, I am waiting on a Jinghao X450, it will be my first ever fountain pen.

Congratulations on your first pen, and welcome to the forum!

I had said "No more pens for me for quite a while!", but I have weakened and ordered a replacement for my recently lost Cross Botanica. Despite finding fault with it for not writing any better than my Metros, not having an included converter, and costing more than it "should," once it was gone, I missed its blingy-ness too much! Fortunately I found a good deal on one at ipens. This one I'll have to watch like a hawk when I open my purse, I suppose.

I mean it, no more pens for awhile! ;)

I'm waiting on a black-green Pelikan m1000. I was considering an m1005 demonstrator, but decided that while I could live with a $30 TWSBI Eco getting stained after a while, I'd be less pleased with staining on a much more expensive pen.

A pink Visconti Michelangelo Venus M, my first Visconti. I have concerns about the metal section but reviews say it isn't slippery so I decided to give it a try.

Sheaffer Targa (to use with an incomplete Targa Calligraphy set I won for 20$) ... Indonesia is pretty darn far from Montreal!

5 black Jinhao X450 I just purchased for a total of $4.95 ($0.99 each). Those will be my give away pens. I've given some away in the past and each one is well loved. Some people are reluctant to take it outside their home for fear of losing it.

Beautiful pen. I was going to get one for my wife, but she doesn't have the same love of fine pens as I've developed. Enjoy your Visconti!
