VP has shipped, knowing my luck it will arrive while I'm in Seattle and I'll have to wait til Sunday to ink it up. Anyways still really excited.

Don't mind me, I like to ramble... A LOT

I just ordered a new Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age (maxi w/ ef nib) from Bill P. on the FPN classifieds. Can't wait to get this pen! :puddle:

This one for me, it's an excruciating wait for a blind buy.

Ink and stuff to go with my pens I've recently acquired. :D

I just got a P45 fiber tip I'm converting to a RB. If I can find parts (section only I think) that don't cost the earth I may convert to a FP.

I also have a Parker Arrow Flighter that I have cleaned up really well. I'm just waiting on ink for it

I'm also waiting with bated breath on a nice Parker auction that has a misspelling in the description, and nothing about the model number, so I'm hoping it gets overlooked and I get it cheap. :yikes:

I've got a dark brown celluloid Jinhao 500 coming home. It should be here before mid-May. I don't know what to expect, but for that price I think I can run any risk (I don't consider myself worthy of expensive pens, not yet).

About to pull the trigger on my first "expensive" pen, a Pilot/Namiki Falcon. I'm hoping I like it as much as I think I will based on the good reviews.

I've got one and love it. That nib can do things that other fountain pens just can't do. Turn the nib over and lay down a fat bold line. These days I just do that for separating days in my work log. Very cool nib. The pen is light as a feather but it doesn't feel fragile. Enjoy!

Oh, boy. I'll start by admitting I have a problem.

Ordered and on the way:

1. Pope Julius 888

2. Tolstoy 1868

3. Blue Hour

Later this year:

4. Sforza 888

5. Elizabeth 888

6. Shakespeare 888 (shhhhhh)

7. GvFC POY

Already arrived in 2016 --

8. Elizabeth 4810

9. Sforza 4810

10. Joseph II 4810

10. Pelikan Autumn Flowers Maki-e

10. DuPont 5th Avenue

(I know, I know. I listed "10" three times. It makes me feel like my problem isn't so bad.)

All of this makes the FedEx guy a true friend. DO you have any idea what those guys make?? We have talks (rushed a little -- he always seems to be in a hurry) about what's arrived and what is in the packages. He's definitely an enabler.

But a question -- anyone have the Visconti Pininfarina? I have one and it dries out terribly. When it works, my stub point lays down a line that (best guess) is about a quarter-mile wide. I do not like it, Sam I Am. Anyone have a similar experience? I have a Visconti Jacques DeMolay I'm thinking of selling out of fear it'll be the same way.

Any thoughts?
