Found a good deal on the Conklin Mark Twin Crescent Filler. It's been on the back of my mind for years. Arriving Friday:

And because I fell for some shimmering inks, I thought I could experiment with a stub nib. Arrives Thursday:

Just a coincidence that they're both Conklins.

My fingers are always inky and I'm always looking for something new.  Interested in trading?  Contact me!

I just won a Parker 51 on e-bay (against my better judgement).

The seller said it was working, so let's hope it turns out to be great.

I must be crazy. I don't even know what nib it has on it.

Let's hope my membership to the P-51 club is a positive one.

Just placed an order for a Pelikan M1005 Demonstrator. Can't wait for it to arrive already.

I guess I have a problem with large demonstrators because I just ordered a Visconti Homo Sapiens Florentine Hills and am anxiously awaiting that now as well.

Thanks!

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Three more colors of the humble Pelikan Twist are flying over from Germany.

  • Silver
  • Pearl
  • Pink

Just one more color missing.

These are surprisingly well-behaved pens for the price.

Still waiting on my very, very first fountain pen - a Parker 25 (and a rollerball pen).

It's been 10 days and the seller hasn't shipped them yet. I contacted them Friday, got a reply that they will go out Saturday but still no tracking number.

Fingers crossed they'll go out one of these days and that I get them as soon as possible.

Added some new birds to my flock of Pelikans on Sunday...

- later gen green binde 100N with an EF nib (nib is slightly damaged)

- later gen grey binde 100N with an EF nib

- 200 1.18mm propelling pencil (green)

- 400NN Tortoise

Really anxious to get my hands on the pens so I get to clean and inspect them. I already know that one nib was (partially) damaged and the pics for the 400NN were more than a bit crappy. So yeah, here's to waiting...
