Just got my coral colored Rouge etc Noir with a medium nib. It's lovely to write with. Feels fantastic in your hand.

LeGrand Platinum Rollerball/Fineliner - my first MB in this size (I have only 149 + many Starwalkers), actually a good choice.

I am strangely addicted to strangers getting new mb pens and inks. I pulled the trigger on the Moon Pearl finally btw.

We need pictures and details! :)

I have handled one - I was impressed!

I stopped by my local MB Boutique today to look at the Miles Davis pens -- not my to my liking. But, they had recently secured a few bottles of Tolstoy ink and I bought a bottle.

I recently got this 149 Platinum and today finally received my much awaited for OBBB nib :) Can't wait to ink it up and 'join the club'.

Thank you again for the beautiful pictures!

I have a red gold one in BB and a platinum one in B coming in the mail, and I am seriously considering getting another one in yellow gold OBBB, and I haven't even received the two previous pens yet!

The nib looks very tasty!

Well, I finally broke down and bought some more MB LE ink - Tolstoy, Golden Yellow, and ultra black. I am still waiting for the Shakespeare to come back in stock.

I really like both the Tolstoy and Shakespeare ink! I picked up two bottles of Tolstoy to go with my pen. I did not care for the Shakespeare pen, but last time I was in my "local" boutique they had a single bottle of the ink which I purchased and really enjoy the shading of, especially with a broad nib, though I have been using it sparingly as I am unable to locate anymore.

Mastiff- Thanks :) The red gold..!! There was nothing I wanted more than to have gotten the OBBB on my 90 Years 149, but the time for a nib exchange came and went- so I had to do it for my Platinum instead.

Ghost Plane- Most definitely! The thing is, I believe its like being on a course/track. You get into fountain pens and it goes like: cartridges > bottle fill > M > F > more M + F > period of experimentation > B/BB > Oblique broads.

I am sure many of us would enjoy seeing some photographs once it arrives. I am a fan of that pen. What nib size did you order?

The few, the proud, the OBBB contingent! Ha!

Well, you don't turn a low hour pilot loose with an F-16 either.

:D :D :D

Magnificent! I was thinking of buying a Miles Davis LE, but may have to have one of these instead.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

That was pretty much my exact progression, skipping over the B/BB phase.
